Hi, I'm Melanie Hussell. When you recruit a new employee, what qualities are you looking for? Here is one of the many worksheets that I've created. This one is around people showing a variety of adjectives used to describe their qualities. Yes, I'm sure you want to hire knowledgeable, competent and reliable people, but are you also looking for say an IT person who is self-motivated, proactive, and with meticulous attention to detail. Or perhaps an inspiring and resilient director who is also demanding and yet empathetic. So which adjectives would you like to use when discussing potential candidates with your HR team or your recruiter?
